William Wray
Cartoonist William Wray “blends traditional skill sets of realism and the sheer energy of abstract expressionism in an ongoing evolution to find the balance between two seemingly unrelated styles.. He finds his voice in a contemporized reflection of traditional California regional painting that focus on humble subject matter rarely considered as fine art.”
I especially like his urban landscapes. Studio visit from Ashley Wood´s blog.

The paintings by Jim Lutes have a pretty tone until 1989 (the Milwaukee avenue period). See more of his works in this video – you have to bear some artsy talking though.
Melanie Smith

Stroke01

There’ve been quite a few diamonds at the 1st European Urban Art fair Stroke. Swoon, Fupete, Eboy, Emess, Flying Fortress / Dave the Chimp…ATM, Since.upian, Intoxicated Demons…If you haven’t had the chance to come by, check the heavyweighters in the web.
I’m looking forward to location based information on street artists linked to the relevant galleries/art dealers. Not in one building, but in the streets. Don’t blame adidas.
