A phantastic world
“Yamini Nayar’s work explores an intersection found between photography, sculpture and the constructed moment. Her large-scale photographs are made from installations and models built on tabletops from found and raw materials, documented with a large-format camera and disassembled and discarded afterward. The final photographic document is both an object in itself and entry point into a world held together for the lens.”
Public hyperbindings
Lorenz Estermann analyses Eastern- and Central European industrial buildings from the 60s and 70s and overstates their aesthetics when he builds smalls scale models of them. He then places these objects in the middle of nowhere (and in galleries like LEVY /Hamburg and Röpke / Cologne) and takes photos or videos of them. Fun time! He also works on paper. For more info see this excerpt from his book “Public hyperbindings” (Hatje Cantz, 2010).
Spatial paintings by Maurice van Tellingen

On the street where I live

Peter Feigenbaum creates urban landscapes using model train sets, cars, and buildings. Feigenbaum details the buildings and surroundings to make them appear aged and distressed prior to photographing the sets. Peter Feigenbaum, born in Cambridge 1984 graduated from Yale University in 2006 with BA in Architecture. Find more photos by Peter Feigenbaum at West Collection and Like the spice Gallery (incl.
